Vuko, Farrell, Niz, Maxy, Tulio and Torres are 6 of the absolute best in the A League. Sir Alex Ferguson could not get this years squad to play anywhere near the level of last year.
RP nearly killed our season last year when he sold Tulio but Angel Torres stepped up and dominated and covered the goals with an amazing 14 from the wing and our momentum and the remaining 5 superb players kept us ticking.
No coach in the AL is getting this team to Gel this year. Almost no quality and no depth.

All true, Not that I defend Peil as a habit, but Tulio wanted out didn’t he? He only re-signed on the proviso Monty and Serg were sticking around.

No doubt Monty and Serge were masters at recruitment. Jacko is possibly the better coach tactically but his recruitment not at the same level as yet.

We also had the money/ability to do a little clean-out and recruit new players in January the last couple of seasons

Eames isn't really A-league ready either.

He has done well and shown some nice moments huge potential. More ready than the others is probably more realistic.

But it's not like he is bossing games. He still gets bullied by some of the more physical midfielders in the comp.

Brilliant player to bring on if alfie or Tappy were not performing.

It’s been the only positive from Tapp injury. We have found another gem. Just needs physical maturity. His skill are better than others. Perfect fit with Tapp. Tapp the hustle midfielder and Eames the finesse and passing skills
