ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

[QUTE="Yoda, post: 205181, member: 1584"]Where did the "Old" rating come from Sydmariner??? The article was from today, and as of at least Monday morning JVS was goalkeeper coach at CCFC and as of today he was listed on CCF website as a first grade player for CCFC NPL2 team....... I think it's far from old news.[/QUOTE]
As of tonight he was still coaching the CCFC goalkeepers and will continue to do so whilst at the Jets.

Good news.... Jets commitments would most likely be during the day leaving nights for CCF.

That is what he said. Exceptions will be Friday nights when the Jets are playing (like tomorrow).

Heard on the grapevine that CCM were going to provide CCF with a replacement TD in a bid to repair relations. Just after game talk so it may be a load of shit but it kind of makes sense given they hired that kiwi guy and he doesn't really have any kids to look after - just the NYL players.

CCFC vs Fraser Park
1st grade 2-2, Under 20's also had a win. Teams are taking shape and so far look pretty good. Looking forward to a good year.

I have just seen the kiddies draw for 2015 and they have been given a game on good Friday against Hakoah. Not sure if someone in football NSW is taking the piss or not.

Watched the U18's,20's & 1st grade play Syd Uni on weekend. Great to see the youngsters getting a run in all grades. Tommy Lyons and Connor Wilkinson in 1st Grade and more than held their own.

Things must be looking up for CCF/Mariners relationship - Tony Walmsley spotted at SAP / Youth 14s/15s training tonight.

Ken Schembri was there, as the TD.
I am happy to be wrong though.
He wasn't there in any official capacity (didn't appear to be anyway). He wandered from the carpark near the equipment shed, around past the 9's, over to where the 14s/15s were warming up, presumably to have a look at the setup and maybe a chat with Ken (I didn't watch his every move). He then wandered back past the 9's and was chatting with some parents near the shed who he may or may not know. I just thought it was good to see him going out of his way to come down and observe a junior training session.
