My two cents... we miss Danny V who constantly directed the backs... we gave credit to BK and under appreciated the role Danny was doing organising him.
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Owen goal maybe?
Steele should not be in the starting 11 tbh.I changed my vote from other guy just so I can vote other guy again. We have tried Kaltak as captain and it didn't work. If it's not Sains, it's should be Storm with Steely as 3rd option
THIS.Steele should not be in the starting 11 tbh.
In an ideal world, i agree with you but unfortunately we all support the Mariners and as such we have have to take the shit with the miracle. Which means having a player that would be lucky to make the bench at any other club and selling anyone even remotely good for low $$Steele should not be in the starting 11 tbh.
Sainsbury has been an underwhelming signing in general. I wonder how much respect the rest of the team has for him. Nothing about him inspires me at all.
Is it possible that his professionalism and standing in the game is way above the seemingly casual attitude of certain players around him?I feel a bit the same. Obviously experienced and can play but some things he's done as the captain have me scratching my head. Threw the subs under the bus in an earlier game we lost, happy to collect yellow cards and generally ( I could be reading too much into it ) doesn't seem to have too much camaraderie with the players around him. Wondering if this is also affecting BK?
I'm an each way bet on this one.Is it possible that his professionalism and standing in the game is way above the seemingly casual attitude of certain players around him?
He's been there and done that. The rest of the squad haven't.
I think he is a perfect choice and it's up to the others to match him not the other way around.
As captain, he didn't gift Wanderers 2 goals, he also didn't miss the chances.
Just maybe his lay back attitude in general is not what you want in a captain
