    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

    ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Bye Bye Sash?

To me it always depends how a player goes, in the case of Sash, Tommy, Mile, Beauchamp and Kwasie they all put in for the club 100% whilst they were here but circumstances dictated that they had better opportunities elsewhere and they left with dignity.  I can accept their decision, hold no malice and hope that and hope they do well (except against the mariners).  As for dandruff boy after we gave him the opportunity to resurrect his career he shows us no loyalty and moves to Sydney for the $$$ and then gives it the Ive moved to the biggest club, I want to win things etc.  Now that is when I hold a grudge and have taken total delight in watching him fail this year.

I posed the question as I wondered how bear would express jubilee and hatred all at once.

Alicia put this question to me last night

"what if Sash scores the winning goal in the grand final if we make it"

And I said, id be happy, cos my TEAM won the grand final, id say "thanks for the finish sash, but your a scummer now, so on your way"

Is that wrong?

good question, i'm sure the scummers felt the same last year when bridge scored the winning goal in the "grand final" and left for sydney

Ahh but at that stage he had not officially signed on with Sydney, unlike Sash whos story is already out

id say no because:

1.hes contracts up at the "END" of the season, (we are payin' him to score goals)
2.surely sash knew what he was in for when he signed for the jets!

So what happens to the Squadron's 'Sasho's a girl's name' chant?

But then they're not that bright as while they were chanting that they had Jade North playing for them.

They will probably do the exact same thing as we did and start chanting "sasho's not a girls/dogs name anymore" ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

For now i'm gonna wait and see how he handles himself leaving the club if starts rubbishing the mariners like aloisi did then he'll quickly go from a favourite to most hated player but if he leaves on better terms just doing the whole mutal couldnt agree to terms speech then he'll just be another meh player on the team that i'll be booing. I doubt he's going to keep the respect tommy had but i reckon he ll cop less abuse then aloisi .... Interested to see how he will celebrate if he scores against us.

I enjoyed Sasho's skill's on the park, but i have alway's thought he was a arrogant wanker. His body language towards other players and comment's he makes in interview's really piss me off, not the sort of player or person that i want myself or my club to be associated with.

Needless to say I'm happy we have shown him the door, and even happier that he will be wearing the shit stained jersey next season, prepare for a barrage of abuse hahaha.

i met sasho at  the leauges club and my gf couldn't help herself but to call out his name, he waved us over and shook our hands and we had a pic taken with him. (which was nice of him)
we was with his family and someone who looked like his dad. we had a chat with him about football over a beer and he seemed pretty cool, not like other coast footballers ive met who were dickheads (no names)...

goodluck sash, but not against us

I'd say he has played his last game in front of BT fans and will be lucky to start again....

Lawrie is already saying Matty and Dylan and possibly Nick.....

CENTRAL Coast coach Lawrie McKinna has challenged strikers Matt Simon and Dylan Macallister to step up a gear in the finals if they want to play for Australia in the next Asian Cup qualifier against Kuwait next month.

McKinna believes the play-offs are the ideal platform for his strikers to cement their Socceroos places. Coach Pim Verbeek preferred Melbourne Victory pair Archie Thompson and Danny Allsopp in the qualifier against Indonesia.

"It's now up to Matty and Dylan to force their way in (for the Socceroos' match in Canberra) and scoring goals will surely help their cause," McKinna said.

McKinna was tossing up whether to go into the first leg of the minor semi against Queensland at Bluetongue Stadium Friday with an extra forward in Nik Mrdja. ...

Some interesting stats:
Since middle December, Sash has been on the bench or not playing in 5 games;
We have lost them all;
We have failed to score in 4 of them.
In the middle of this, Sasho started in 2 matches, both of which we won.
I hope Lawrie starts him on Friday night.

I'm beginning to wonder what Sasho has done to have pissed off Lawrie so much.
