ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

1. Absinthe and lemonade.
2. Kava
3. Pims
4. Er, after you've had 1., 2. & 3. you shouldn;t be able to think of 4. or 5.!

crickey, all three, especially the top, really f**k with your head as well as the rest of your body

Well you could try that concoction of sleeping tablets and Red Bull that the QRL players were alleged to have drunk.........

The Absinth we have today is very mild compared to the hallucinogen that was being drunk in the late 19th century in Europe. That stuff allegedly sent Van Gogh mad.

I haven't had Absinth and I think I'll draw the line at it actually.

Have had Kava at a Tongan wedding reception which was great - you couldn't feel your lips after two or three sips of the stuff and standing up was an effort too, lol! No wonder the men all sit around take two sips, clap, then pass it onto someone else. Real earthy flavour from what I can remember.

The kava I had just tasted like dirt.

Absinthe is just vile in taste and it really makes you crazy and aggressive.

We once spent an evening in Montematre, Paris, looking for the bar (cannot remember the name now but its name had something to do with a rabbit or hare) where all the famous artists used to go and drink absinthe and philosophise. We wanted to go and drink absinthe and philosophise. Anyway, after endless wandering we finally found it and it was closed that day for a private function!!!
