Those sad Scummers have banned me from their forum for daring to suggest the Squadron acted like nobs by protesting against their Club recently. 

Mighty touchy aren't they? How 'ard are they? Fine to hand out a limp protest, but can't cope when people don't agree.

And the likes of BozMoron aka Nigel Bosworth (that can't be a real name can it?) and his sad friends squeal that Con overreacts!  :'( What hypocrites.

Timmy, I've never had any personal beef with you. What you've done with the Squadron has been brilliant, considering who you have had to put up with. A lot of the effort you put into setting up the Squadron reminds me of what I did setting up the Rowdies. It ain't easy, and I know that.

I think you erred big time with the protest, and I'm not alone in thinking that. Maybe you had bad council from some of your less credible collegues, I don't know. It was something that I personally wouldn't have remotely entertained when the Breakers were cellar dwellers during the 'Kosmina Years'. If simply saying that (as I did) is worth a ban, I really don't care.

I think it does say a lot about how sensitive you lot are at the moment though. More laughs for us.

Can confirm Nigel Bosworth aka The Nige aka N-Boz aka B-Dawg is the real deal, despite sounding like a 19th century British butler (Nige if you're out there the name Matt Simon isn't all that great either so feel free to have a go eg. my name is actually just two first names etc.)

OK, so we're all supposed to ignore the past and be all lovey dovey with each other?

That translates to:

Mark Shields and Matthew Breeze are OK chaps
The Jets are just another team up the F3
John Aloisi is just another player in the A-League
Ditto Joel Griffiths, Kevin Muscat, etc.

To ignore the past, both good and bad, would be a big mistake imho. And it would mean football would lose a lot of the 'bite' that makes it so entertaining.

Football needs it's history, including it's catfights and its diverse opinions. Part of the rich tapestry. As long as it doesn't stray into the nasty, bring it on I say.

May the footballing gods save us from a bland competition.
