ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Homebush was something special that night in 05.

*shivers at the memory*  Got in 80 minutes before kickoff, the stadium was about 1/5th full by then, and even at that early point it was louder than it has ever been since for any other game that's been held there since.  Unforgettable.

Not sure and could not find it but a mate said their is a clash and RL have Homebush booked for final or Grand Final on the same day.

Leauge GF @ Homebush is Oct 4 from memory, so unless they are worried the ground can't be up to international standard.  ???

f*** the capacity, SFS has atmosphere!
have never been to a amatch at homebush, with atmosphere( didnt make it in 05)
homebush only if its completely sold out, otherwise its as big a vortex as FC

SFS highlights:
- Australia v Israel WCQ with the Bay 23 boys chanting "PLO" was quite awesome.
- Australia v England with Bay 23 boys chanting "IRA" and then having the English supporters storm our bay was quite scary
- Unfortunately was not at the U-R-Gay game being in India but the atmosphere at The Australia v Argentina WCQ was the most noise and atmosphere I have ever heard especially after Aurelio Vidmar scored.

Be nice to relive some memories in a full stadium cranking with atmosphere. Let's hope the GGA don't ruin it with their flare antics.

might be a good stop after the australian!!!

will work on it but suggest a midday start at the slip inn (opp circular quay station) and then onto the fortune of war and work our way up to the harbour view and come back to the australian and finish at belgian beer cafe

nine drinking venues in all

then group taxis to stadium
