Yep it was a nice little preseason game for us, get some fitness into the boys, we had some good pens and didn't cheat

Well that was wild. Monty got to experiment and Sydney still couldn’t put us away. We basically played with 1 CM until Tulio was pushed back up front. We were 10 fold better once niz went back into the middle.

Plenty of positives;
Warshawsky was immense, many elite saves and great composure.
Paull was great on debut too.
Great goal from Alou who looked better once DWH was on, who was also quite decent especially the way he sent Smith in behind for Steeleys goal.

Early pre season, incomplete squad and had a dog shit referee and linesman not stolen a fair goal from us we’d be laughing.


We’re in a good place. I personally am not fussed about exiting the cup. I know others feel differently and that’s fine.

I'm not either, if we didn't have the AFC I might feel differently but we've got enough on our plate with that already.
