ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
I thought it was controversial when Newcastle copped a very similar one and it stood on the weekend. Body part - hand is supposed to be no handball but apparently body part - ground - hand is, even if the ball is moving very fast and there’s nothing you can do about it.How good! Clear handball. Great first save by whyman but we got to the rebound. What a game!

Doesn't matter if its body to hand, still not handball unless its over the shoulder from what I recall. Its such a fine distinction though. You could have top of foot to hand and its ok but bottom of foot - ground - hand and its a penalty. Very similar time <1s, no chance to react and its treated very differently.Hand outside the natural arc of the body so handball.

I'm not saying it does or that it isnt handball. I was making a point about how the rules treat two very similar situations quite differently just because it hits the ground however quickly before the arm rather than going direct from body to arm.Law says nothing about reaction time.
Oh just found out that both keepers were off. I was wondering why they were celebrating with the keeper when it seemed like she almost cost us the three points. Great job Irwin!Who was in goals for us when Sydney scored? From the other end of the stadium it looked like a regulation save?
