ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Very impressive performance. We have been threatening this for a while.

Torres's best game so far.

Well done MJ
I agree with this and with Torres. We saw a huge amount from him from where we were and as I said earlier, he actually does a lot. His work rate is high, I can’t fault hos effort. I’m happy to persevere with him, he just needs to finish what he creates.

He runs at players at pace and beats them. Last night he began to get his head up more. I suspect he has been trying too hard. A big improvement. He will find his feet and then he will be a weapon.
At the time while watching the team I thought they had slowed the pace down to save themselves for the upcoming week, but as the match went on I suspect they had been instructed to slow down, think, make the chance then go for it. About time too, up until now they have been running like a bull at a gate.
I did notice that the four attackers swapped around a couple of times, good to see.
I was impressed with Reec as a starter.
I thought Tulio's first touch was well and truly off early in the game and he lost the ball too often. When he moved wide he was much more in control.
As for the rubbish opposition, City were not much good in the GF, but no one was complaining. You can only beat the team in front of you and some times your tactics make them crap.
Not a bad player on the pitch.
A big step up for the team. Hopefully WU have played us into form.

I remember the week they were made mandatory. The ref told me I couldn't play so I ran over to the public phone box, ripped a few pages out of the phone book and stuffed them down my sox. Problem solved.

I was then amused years later when Santiago Munez did almost the same thing in Goal! The Movie.

One of my team mates at Kariong United used the side of the box of VB they were drinking pre game! I didn't agree with pre game drinks but pretty sure we beat Wyoming O35B 6.0 that day so i couldn't really winge.

Great result last night against an ordinary Western United team. The clean sheet and 4 goals are satisfying but could have scored 7 or 8.
Yellow Army did a great job. Michael and Maxy leading the way in the bay. Great job boys, watched the replay and sounded great on TV. Only complaint, cant stand the cans and bottles getting thrown. Love a beer spray, dont love getting hit in the head by a can or bottle (or having a group of kids deliberately spray you with water!) Might have to move myself to the back of the bay instead of the front to avoid a can to the head ?
