ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

So who do we play next
Most likely Phnom Penh at home in a single leg. If we win that next will be either McArthur or a Malaysian side I think it was Sabah or something like that, again in a single leg. That will be the end of our Zone stage and if we win then we'll play home/away against other zone winners...could be something crazy like Iran or Mongolia!

Why do you think Phnom Penh? If it's done on a seeding basis rather than an open draw, I would assume it will be 1v4 and barring an upset tonight, the pub team will be the first seed as the highest ranking group winner and Phnom Penh would be 4th being the best runner up.

The only way I can see it being known now that we play Phnom Penh is if it is an "open" draw conducted by Tony Vidmar with the names on backs of envelopes.

Shaun told me that yesterday and Pete mentioned it on the last pod. TBH I took their word for it and haven't validated it.

They’re right - the zonal semifinals depend on which group’s second placed team makes it through. If it’s Macarthur’s group, we play the second-placed team from that group (which is currently and likely Phnom Penh) at home.
