ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Steely slowly improving with game time but we desperately need him to be more positive on the ball. It's a problem with the whole team at the moment but he exemplifies it. Far too often only Mauragis and Sasha seem interested in going forward.

Thought Paull has been decent, maybe finally starting to settle into professional football.

Overall a good first half performance and we're very unlucky not to be leading.

The game is there for us, another Chinese team and another shit as f**k defence begging for one of our blokes to take advantage. We need Alfie or Steely to arrive late in the box for scraps, a few times it was ripe for one of them but they were too deep.
Diesel’s been very solid and composed, looking the goods early. Alfie’s been good. Can’t really fault any of the boys. Just put the f**king ball in the f**king net, please. I’m backing our defence to keep the clean sheet tonight.

Feijao is showing signs he's going to be a very important player for us if he can be molded.
I'm hopeful, I can see why he has been brought in but I don't think he has earned a start. He could be awesome. He could also be a flop. Both are definitely possible. I'm optimistic, but he should have learned to play better with us by now rather than these blind passes expecting somebody to be there.

To be fair, steely does look forward as a first option more often than not but it’s a flaw in this current set up, 5-2-3, he really only has Ed, Feijao and Doka as a first forward ball when we win it back deep. If they’re not open I don’t mind if he just keeps it. But I do agree he does need to be more positive overall.

We need our midfield to start creating a attacking threat. They are improving but not team will fear a shot from our midfield at the moment. Face forward and start to take some shots. It will make the defenders start to worry about them and take pressure of the other attackers.
Their keeper looks dodgy as well, pepper him and follow up for spills. Almost like we need a 60-70 min Kuol 😉
