ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

It's pretty clear who MVs primary marquee target will be this season, to be announced shortly:

Miura Kazuyoshi
Age: 56
National team: Japan
Position: Forward
Current club: Oliveirense (Liga Portugal 2), on loan from Yokohama FC (Japanese J1 League)

Major international tournaments: 1992, 1996 AFC Asian Cup Major international titles: 1992 AFC Asian Cup 89 caps, 55 goals "King Kazu" has played in Brazil, Japan, Italy, Croatia, Australia, and now Portugal during a career that has spanned 38 seasons as a professional. Miura shows no signs of slowing down, although he has (as of 31 March 2023) yet to make his debut for his new team Oliveirense. Internationally, Miura represented Japan 89 times, scoring 55 goals and winning the 1992 Asian Cup with the Samurai Blue.

It feels like he caught a win on one of the 60 free spins. I tried this one here, I didn't catch anything. Well, at least it's free, that's good. You should try it, maybe you'll have a little fun.
The Japanese are long-livers. 56 years in Japan is equal to 70 years in Australia. I've heard that there are a lot of people over 100 years old in Japan. So this old guy will still run :)

He retired years ago he just didn’t make an official announcement
I remember a wag in the crowd near me calling out to him [as Popovic was making subs] "Hey Robbie, aren't you retired? You're older than Tony!" To his credit he turned and smiled just before going on
