ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

A-League Transfers and Rumours

I wouldn’t be surprised to see someone like Delianov come in if Sozer does leave
You would have to promise him the #1 in his second season to have a shot at him. Right now there's little incentive for a keeper looking to break through to come to us, we'll keep playing Danny while he's here and available pretty much no matter what. Plus there's every chance Gauci gets an offer in the next window or three which would likely see him starting for Adelaide.

Not so sure. If Danny's contract was a 1 + 1 as @priorpeter said we also have two young guns in Warshawsky & Pavlesic (assuming Pavlesic is staing)
With how we have been recruiting young goalkeepers I think the plan is to make one of them our back up and long term replacement for Danny.

I highly doubt Australian youth internationals would change academies without some sort of promise of advancement.

dunno if this is the right thread or not, but i just turned on Kayo to watch PSG v Troyes and Patrick Kisnorbo is the Troyes manager, although they are owned by City Group
but still, fark moi and sacre bleu

He is, took over the team in a bad spot from what I recall and hasnt been able to turn it around. They're either already to be confirmed to be relegated or relying on winning every remaining game and hoping 16th & 17th get no more points while dropping their GD more.
His record there looks to be 1W 4D and a whole bunch of losses. It would be great to see City stick with him and have him rebuild. I do wonder if that league with the language and culture barrier was the best move for someone who relies on getting his team to run through walls for him.

Any gems in that lot released from the nux?
Sail, Ugarkovic & Lewis all headed to other clubs already.

Josh Laws is a good young and relatively experienced central defender, he excelled early in the season with Wooton next to him. Probably not the player for us though as we are stacked with talent in central defence.

Mauragis was on a loan deal from the Jets but is a handy left back in the same mould as McGarry. I think his contract is expiring with the Jets though, if we loss McGarry or Farrell he could be a good signing.

Elliot is a very good right back and would be a good pick-up if he didn't take up a visa spot for us. Rumours he is heading to Scotland anyway.

Yan Sasse was medicore at best and Boxall isn't good enough for a visa spot.
