ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I bought four memberships thirteen years ago. Like Mariner Mick who says that he brings a thousand dollars to the club each year, I also have helped fund the club. By pandering to his whinge for special attention, the club celebrates the division between Foundation and others. I refuse to be a second-class member, so no renewals for me next season.
Pass that on too will you Jimmy

You just don’t stop with the passive aggressiveness and the aggressive aggressiveness. I will apologise now for kicking your dog in the past ten years. I just don’t remember it but I feel it must have been something like this.

I'm not a foundation member. I lived in Newcastle in season 1 - 4. I didn't support the jets (although I did go to some games as it was the only show in town). I went to season 1 and 2008 GFs with mates.

I probably got my first mariners membership in 2012 with my son who was about 6. I took my old man for a few seasons but he's getting on and isn't keen for it anymore. I sign up me and 2 kids now, although the kids aren't keen as much - teenagers 🤷🏻‍♂️.

I don't have any problems with foundation members being recognised. I certainly don't feel like a different class of member. If you stump up for 2 decades from day 1 some recognition seems appropriate.

I joined in season 2 and have total respect for the originals. The (old FFA) wanted memberships to show support for the licence.
Arguably without these guys we may not be here at all

. bastard! i lost my sweetheart deal when Dan moved out of membership
This deal is incorrect. Gold members who sat in Bay 6 when it changed to Platinum were kept at Gold price as a gift for them. That is the only situation like this.

There were no deals for Season 1 members getting Platinum at Gold price. If this was the case for someone, it wasn't cause they were a Foundation Member.

They lost the spreadsheet some years ago.
No back up apparently
There is still data on Foundation Members. Granted it's not perfect as yes the spreadsheet was lost in season 3 I believe. However, it still has enough info on it of who the original 1000 odd members were. Can easily use that data to see who is a member this year. What they may not be able to confirm is who has been a member each year continuously.

Due to the lost spreadsheet plus not having a proper CRM ever (Memberlink via Ticketek is f**king shite and should never be called a CRM), they can't see year on year data unless a spreadsheet of every member from every season has been saved. Dan and myself did have this in place but won't be surprised if it's no longer current.

I am pretty sure there was a deal offered in season one. It involved a photo of the team as well. Pieman and his family who sat next to us in Bay 38 was one of the recipients. I can remember thinking when talking to him that I wished I had taken advantage of it when it was originally offered.
It was still running when I moved from GA to platinum in either season 3 or 4.
We need someone here who was a beneficiary with a better memory than me.

Ah ok I get you. Maybe there was a deal offered back then, but when I was running memberships there was nobody sitting in Platinun paying Gold price because of a deal like that, that I am aware of. So it must have stopped by then.

If this can be believed (from season 3), it appears that there were only 600 members in season1.
