ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

2021 FFA Cup

I really enjoy the FFA Cup, but I also understand some fans don’t take the comp too seriously.

Question:

If you had a choice this season, would you rather:

1) See a competitive Mariner’s proudly finish in a top 2 A-League table position.

Or

2) See an average Mariner’s scrape into 6th position on the A-League table, but, also WIN the FFA Cup?

For me, the steely allure of FFA Cup silverware is too beautiful to resist.
Even if we do enough for City to win it we end up in the Asian cup, i think that's probably the real goal for a deep cup run, do enough that we end up in Asia.

Regardless of whatever lineup we decide to put out against them I am certain our boys will show infinitely more heart than the WSW B team brought tonight.
Exactly what I thought tonight during the game. Our boys will play that much smarter than WSW did. Romero and his other strike partner look better than other NPL front lines we've seen though and if given the chances that the Wolves had we could cop one or two. Especially if we don't play a full strength defence.
