we now need atleast 9 points from a possible 12, meaning we can only afford to drop points to WU and have to win the other 3, while hoping Methcarthur & wellington drop points.

will be a tight finish but its certainly doable, makes those games where decisions went against us and refs cost us points, that much more important, not too mention the late goals we conceded to drop points

Bulls ordinary and made WUN look good, WUN not looking like a team that should be contending the premiership where as City look the real deal. Bulls may be panicking and what a disaster if that over paid squad doesn’t make the finals. Haven’t seen DDS for ages so he still gets those niggling injuries and never plays a full season. He has been out for a while.

Even if we assume they lose against city and victory (a reasonable but not forgone assumption) they can still get to 39 by beating Rudan twice and they will know it. If they can get to 39 GD won’t matter. Probably won’t be enough to get them a home final anyway since Adelaide should get to 40 and you’d expect victory to pass that mark too.
But if Nix only get to 36 or 37 that GD could be a real problem for them.

I think WSW could be a real banana skin for teams over the next few weeks. Teams are dangerous when they have nothing to lose and are trying to prove themselves to the Manager for next season. And lets face it on paper they are not rubbish. Nix have fallen apart in defence over the last month and that is going to be their hurdle to make it and I don't see any quick fixes for them.

Yep and I dont see them doing WSW twice. So 1w, 1d, 2l (37p) is where I have them.

I think he lost interest very quickly in the first game he watched and played and seen how rubbish his team was. I doubt he would want to stay so I laugh at how they may not extend his deal. Seems he has tried to distance himself from the team and their results. I bet if it was a team in the finals he would be keen.

True but they still managed to win whenever they take a lead. They only need to score first and they are a different team.
