ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

And Macarthur get the job done against the Roar to keep us in top spot.

COYY :overheadl::pirashoot:
I’d probably get some crap elsewhere for saying this but I believe overall the nsw bubble we’ve been playing in is probably a bit tougher than the outside NSW opposition Brisbane has mostly played.
Perth are dangerous but fragile.
Adelaide not as sharp but similar and heavily dependent on Mauk to keep their shape.
City somewhat unlucky but we dealt with them.
WU have quality but we dealt with them.
Victory have been poor throughout and Brisbane smacked them twice already in 6 games.

We talked about exactly on air pregame Sunday and how Brisbane’s game against Macarthur will give us some indication.

re the sledging:
Yeah that was so good: Follow up should have been lucky for the Mariners you didn’t. Oar is so ineffective.

Roses played well. But he’s still not a patch on Olly, Stens or Nizz.
Definitely don’t miss Oar and have a smile on my face when I see him on their roster. Best gift we gave them before beating them in round 2.

Agree on La Rose (I know why he has that on his shirt but it’s such a wa&k). All our young blokes are better.

La Rose is there because Liam Rose is also there

Tommy Oar has never been the same since he got injured when he first joined Ipswich Town in the Championship and never got a look in there. He was doing terrifically in the Eredivise before then and was one of our best players at the 2014 World Cup.

Agree and it’s a shame, would have been nice if he did more with us. Now he is an expensive player and not offering any value.

I honestly don't think I have witnessed a worse team for a long time, mariners did have a rough patch, but turned up to play even in the bad years, that honestly looked like a team that didn't want to be there.
Yep and Brebner seems to have lost the dressing room with players looking very unhappy, the Gestede penalty was a WTF??? and how did he not get his second yellow is beyond me. Brebner's days are numbered for sure. As I've said before they don't even look like a good team waiting to gel, they just look rubbish. And to think we saved them from the spoon last year. Not this year.

Team of individuals not just lacking leadership but with shocking examples being set by senior players like Kruse. Who still gets the support of the commentators when he’s acting like a petulant child.

WT actual F alright :piralaugh:

Totally rudderless. Broxham is past it and not a natural leader and Brebner clearly wasn’t ready. The arnie spine and blue print has served Corica very well. But Muscat had all but ridden them into the ground and they’ve failed to rebuild properly since.

Also I think this season shows that “the big” clubs have in truth just been heavily reliant on their foreign talent and have not been evidence of great coaching and are guilty of failing to help develop enough Australian talent.

For mine Staj is a cut above and Talay is the next best.

This is why the salary cap is important for me, Victory, Sydney and City have been able to hide their deficiencies with money, they can't do that this season as all the clubs are basically spending the same amount. The development of "super clubs" would be detrimental to the development of players in this country.
