ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I honestly don't understand the lack of memberships sold by the Mariners. They've done a really good job this season including hats and scarfs with memberships this year.

Membership deals present a good value alternative to purchasing your tickets on the day, maybe they need to have a larger emphasis on this fact tallying up the entire cost of the membership package if the items were to be sold seperately and comparing it to the membership price. The monthly payment deals are also fantastic and are available online too!

We seem to have a core following of about at least 6-7,000 people at all our games. Then we get a few 1,000 blow ins for the big games against scum, tards and drive bys (Which we have 2 home games against each this season instead of 1 of each like last). I'm hoping we get an increase in averages to about 14,000 this year, seeing as though we have had such a successful past few seasons and the community engagement is coming back.

Have they done any research into what are the pain points for people who come often but don't buy membership? One thing they don't have that some do is discounts of food and drink at the stadium, free transport to and from games on gameday. Prices all seem comparable if not on the cheap side compared to other clubs.

By the way, I think the Mariners have the best membership webpage of the lot! Good job this year guys! Renewing was seamless and simple and having the champion shop linked too meant I also picked up a few goodies with the membership renewals.
the food @ the stadium is crap it used 2 be good now it's not

I don't think they have done a bad job at all in the current climate, I like a lot of people haven't renewed yet and won't until closer to the day as there are plenty of other things which compete for my cash and the early renewal offers are not a big enough incentive for me to do it before I have too. Although the packages are exceptional value (you save a small fortune just in booking fees at the $6 a game or whatever it is) at the end of the day a lot of people don't have the cash to hand to fork it out in a lump sum.

There is a much bigger base of cultures with a footballing heritage in Western Sydney so the drive-bys are also not competing with the apathy that impacts attendance such as long commutes home on Friday nights, great beaches, surf carnivals etc on a sunny weekend although I do like their saving on food an beverage as well this would also save a fair bit for me.

Agree, I only renewed yesterday as the early bird wasnt a big enough inducement.

I personally think we have too many fans who know they won't struggle to get in and there is no "scarcity value" in being a member and securing entry.

2 sell outs against the drive bys might open a few eyes.

These are the people who flood FB whining about not being easily able to get finals tickets

Cop out excuse IMO - it's about $32 a month over 6 months (for an adult). Less than a case of beer... and you get to see the Champions do their thannnggg.

Totally agree. Everyone gets tax returns around this time of the year, or everyone can get the monthly payments. $32 is even affordable for a poor ass student like me, and isn't much more than the price of an adult ticket to a game anyway. Only reason I can see to not join up is that you don't need to to get a seat every week, but the advantages of first pick for finals tickets should clinch it for anybody erring.

Affordability is relative, $32 a month maybe affordable for a poor student who does not have a mortgage to pay, kids to feed and clothe, have other activities to compete for the $ or perhaps even enjoy putting it towards as case of beer for the month. Putting it towards Foxtel and you can enjoy the mariners every game home and away plus a whole lot of other different sports. It is also for 1 person as well a number of people I know choose to take the whole family to one game rather than one of them go every week.

Also as I mentioned I think the packages are excellent value for money but as much as we can go on about $32 being a cop out is that Football is not as high up a priority for the demographic on the coast to spend their cash on than as it is in Western Sydney so I think we need to be more realistic with our expectations. 5000 is a good target, have we failed if we don't get there

Id suggest that if the family budget falls over if you add an extra $4 a day (family pass) to it, that football is the least of your issues.

Mates of mine pay over $1k for their season tickets in the UK. They also have families

Personally, I would make U12's free if bought with a family pass by 2 paying adults but then its not my club

The only membership package I think isn't up to scratch is the Non-Ticketed one.

$30 for a card and a sticker. That's it.

The 3 ticket membership is only $30 more and you get a 10% shop discount, priority access to finals tickets and if you decide to save up for 1 big trip to bluetongue (like I'm doing), you're GA ticket is taken care of.

If the first 2 of those perks were in the Non-ticketed one, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Wow the drive bys love a bandwagon. They were only getting 10k at their home games and now 14,000 members. At this rate they will be sold out each home game.
That is brilliant to see and great for HAL.

I'm surprised at the amount of Scum members......is it a Centrelink incentive? Rack up 10 years of unemployment and we will give you a bonus season ticket to the Jets?

Scum family passes are unbelievably cheap. Tinkler has rights to the stadium so also makes money off them when they get there

I went to British Lions game there last month. The bar staff didn't have a clue. 20 min wait to get a beer.
Shitful place.
