ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I remember it clearly. I often chuckle at how that night ended up. I went home after the game and was sitting on my front deck getting deep into a bottle of Irish whisky and wondering where the f**k to from here. Suddenly, my phone starts lighting up like a Christmas tree as the news broke of Mulvey’s sacking, group chats popping off all over the place. Couldn’t believe it had finally happened (particularly the news breaking at 12.48am), and cried out a disbelieving but relieved “oh get f**ked!!” - right as someone happened to be walking past on the street below. “What the f**k?! You wanna go??” was the response from the street. “Bloody hell, here we go” I thought, as I made my way down the stairs to meet my would-be assailant.
As I get to the driveway the sensor light flickers to life - much to my relief it was Rowdy 😂

i broke the news of Mulvey’s sacking to him, and he replied “get f**kED!” “That’s what I said!!” was my response, and we popped open another bottle of whisky and celebrated into the early hours 😂
Some of us were asleep when that group chat went off

I can’t think of a better place to be (well maybe a couple).

Good weather (maybe 😂)

Last years semi finalists going at it. Sure we aren’t the same but it was one bad performance on the back of coming back from Japan and humid against quality opposition.

Are people forgetting we are undefeated in the A League in Dec and on a one game win streak but not any one game win streak the round 5 win streak. Come on people

Love your post 😂

It wasn’t one bad performance though.

Hoping your post still holds up in 24 hours.

Sitting through the bad times is such an important part of the overall experience of being a supporter. It is all part of the ride.
I am not expecting a result but games against the Bling FC are always something special.
Bums on seats are an important factor in not only helping the team lift but also helping the Club, not just in ticket sales, but also in things like sponsorships, and getting good time slots.

Besides you may be pleasantly surprised.

I totally get this and sat through every game in the wooden spoon years for this reason.
Need to see something new from Jacko. Definition of insanity etc.
But this is where I’m at too. Can’t keep dishing up the same stuff and expect a different result. I get the well isn’t deep. But I’m up for throwing out anything different to show me we are at least giving it a go. I’m not trying if we aren’t trying.

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
I wish that Welly game had been away. But I clearly recall sitting through the game in Gosford whilst questioning some of my life choices.

Luckily SM and MC sacked Mulvey before he had even had his cocoa that night and life has been beautiful ever since
was that schmozzle of a game, were among others, Mick, Serious, thurbs and moi along with a ton of others strolled down to behind the benches and yelled at Mulvey , when Dan the man became his personal security?
