ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Three things are a certainty in life, death, taxes, and Charlesworth refusing to spend money in the off season on squad regeneration.

need a new CB, CM, and S atleast. We'll probably get 2 GKs and a WB.

Forgive me, but how is charlesworth to blame for the current squad?

Yes @Spacks I know you’re lurking waiting to claim I’m “running interference“.

Of all the negativity, doom and gloom, PTSD etc, I still remember how it felt the day the gates 'reopened' after Covid lockdown. I also remember when we stormed in at 6-1, or back 2-1 down with the stadium shaking in anticipation. I remember Bolt.

It is a game. Win lose or draw, have fun. Maybe just try to enjoy it for the entertainment it is, and it will be a good day or night out every time. Any talk of moving away or folding or leaving the coast is too much for my Pollyanna ears to bear this morning. FTS.

Sure, I was one of those members who spent hard earned cash, er used AfterPay, on two bus tickets for my tween son and I to go watch tonight's historical drubbing together. I suspect it is a trip we won't make too many times in future for reasons other than the scoreline. I would like to think we can go next season.

Looking forward to the gates opening again, even if it's against those forsaken cowbells.

How much funding was made available mid-season when it was blatantly clear the midfield and forwards were missing any type of control in attack?

Based off the history of Charlesworth involvement he has never invested appropriately, I'll start believing he has an interest in the direction of the club when he starts investing appropriately or sells to an interested investor who is keen to invest.

I was always be a fan of Charlesworth in a sense he ensured the clubs survivability, but it's very hard to get motivated about the short-medium future of the club with the knowledge he's in control.

In the cold light of day basically a team of unfit junior burgers with a has been captain got pumped by a squad that's had some investment.

Owner bails on you days before the season starts after shit canning half the loyal and proven back office staff.

Captain and supposed Messiah is injured for the first 8 weeks then turns out his legs have gone.

Multiple serious injuries to key players in an already thin squad. Including the Visa striker.

All your Visa signings are undercooked apart from one (Doka).

This was always going to be a tough season but circumstances have compounded.

That said there will be no early bird renewal this time. I'll be choosing my membership level at the start of the season based on what happens in the off.

I'll show up for the last 2 games with no expectations. As long as the boys put up a fight that'll be enough. Now is the time you find out what players are really made of.

two games left....im all for sending out the kindergarten squad (absolutely no one born before 2005) , cant be worse than getting drubbed by the scummers

I'm with you, just think it's beneficial to have a few of the players on field that will be there next year, just for guidance.

Well, the NPL squad is also playing rubbish and went down to 9 men on Friday night. I don’t doubt there is some talent there but not enough to feel real optimism.
Upset or stoned? They all looked like they had had sess pre game.

Well the pizza delivery after the game is suggestive that it was just a bunch of guys out for a fun Saturday night, caring sweet FA.

If that is true.. (the huge Dominos delivery post game).. I’m absolutely at a loss. This is a team who doesn’t give a shit.

A lot of clubs across the world have pizza as post match meal.

Usually it's accompanied by fruit or sandwiches (and probably isn't a full pizza each with loaded stuffed crust mega meat lovers).

I doubt that they changed what they do now. I suspect it would have been similar post match last year when we won everything 🤷🏻‍♂️

It looks terrible. A team that is visibly unfit, sluggish, played appallingly, post 6-0 slogging eating take away pizzas.

Possibly should have bought pizza for the fans who travelled.

I dunno the issue with this. They need a social pick me up that isn't a piss up on a Friday and Saturday night. A few slices of pizza may help keep them off it for an extra hour, and also line their stomachs.
