ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. From what I read, some Auckland fan came towards the away bay ‘looking for trouble’ and king hit a random wanderers fan (the guy in that photo). That Auckland fan then apparently got bashed, his shirt stole and arrests were made 🤷♂️

do you reckon that is due to less troublemakers, better police in the area, less threat to other codes (no nearby nrl clubs) better club support?

Less troublemakers, its’ usually rival fans coming into our bay to cause trouble.

That definitely makes the issue of active support tricky. I don't see how the a league thrives without a big embrace of active support, but their treatment doesn't always seem to be a black and white story of anti-football bias
