Caught the replay, fairly poor first half and it could have got ugly if not for some great saves by Peraic-Cullen.

Had a much better second half and were rather unlucky not come away with a point in the end. Two great Mitch Mallia free kicks doing us in.

Great composed finish by Niyonkuru, against an ALM experienced keeper in Prendegast.

Sciluna had another good game on the ball, but our midfielders often leave our defence very exposed.

Good chances for Headley and Smyth that were well saved. Smyth also hitting the bar from a free kick.

Decent performance from a depleted team, no Brandtman, Deng or Parkes, which on the second half alone probably deserved a point.

I watched the first half whilst waiting for the girls to start down in Melbourne and we were so far off the pace that I didn't bother to watch the replay of the second; sound like there was some improvement.

Feels like we need a circuit breaker at the moment. I think Kasalovic alongside Scicluna would make a huge difference and I don't understand why he isn't in there. Or maybe its a change of formation. 3 CBs might help counter the lack of screening from the midfield and the general rawness of the 2 currently playing there. I really like both Deng and Parkes by the way but as far as I know there are both only 17 or just turned 18. There are 3 other good young CBs, so plenty of options for a 3rd CB.

Peraic-Cullen was outstanding in the first half - for me he is just in front of Warshawsky - but I was surprised to see him out there. That means we have only taken 2 keepers for the AFC game - saves a few bucks on airfares and hotels but a bit of a risk if one of them picks up a knock in training or an illness, going into such an important game with no backup keeper on the bench.

Boys down 1-0 at halftime. Played better early but last 15 lost the midfield again.

Got caught by a ball over the top and PC got got halfway out and got chipped easily. Otherwise were threatened even though were on the back foot.

2-0 loss. Totally dominated in the 2nd half. Barely made it in their half and couldn’t put two passes together.

Deng was on the bench. Came on late.

Rudan just mentioned the WSW team were 1st on the ladder.

Ayden Hammond also scored in tonight’s aleague win over Victory.

Soooo many questions that will never be answered. 😳

Is it just me or has everyone got together to save O'Rudan. I don't watch every presser or interview but the last 3 that I have
- ALeague site with a video of Rudan explaining how good he is with youth, turning the Wanderers academy around through his share hard work and just at the end concedes others have helped too
- presser explaining how he got it wrong with Younis and that really he (himself) is just an awesome guy but nobody gets to see that (because you're not Mark)
- pregame last night also talking about how awesome he his, he seemed to know the questions and had prepared answers. Sure people see his passion on the sidelines but during the week, especially with the youngsters, he's just giving hugs and wanting to have a laugh with the players. Commentators referring to him as Rudes. It was all very cringeworthy.

I agree, there is an agenda. Maybe the commentators like him because he was one for a while. I laugh at the youth situation there now, when they got flogged he hung the youth out to dry and last night they saved his bacon. Where were these young players all season, bit late to bring them out in potentially the last game for the team.

On another note they do have some promising talent on show.
