ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

55% passing completion - worse with the ball than Birra.

Note: He is my single most hated footballer right now - just an irrational hatred replacing that of Reddy.
He was playing for Middlesbrough against the team that are second in the EPL. Everything would have been a long ball that was contested.

By all reports he saved everything that moved and only a deflection got past him.

I’m all for hating on a player but 1 random stat that’s one of the lesser stats for his position just to try and make out he had a bad game is petty. It’s like saying a striker who scored a hatty is shit because his tackle % was low ??‍♂️.

There is another ex-Mariner coaching in Scotland and the other one is fairing better than Monty.

Stewart Petrie has been manager at Montrose for 7+ years. They were perennial tier 4 strugglers and bottom of the table when he took over but within 18 months they won the championship and promotion to tier 3.

Their 3 previous promotions over the last 40 odd years has resulted in immediate relegation, but Stewart has kept them in tier 3 for the last 6 seasons and at the right end of the table, usually making the promotion playoffs but not yet able to crack promotion to tier 2.
