ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hey guys, Unfortunately we missed a lot of your questions, some of them were asked and answered in a slightly different way, we had to record the interview at 5:30 so anyone who asked after that missed out.

We talk to manager Paul Okon about the upcoming season.
Catch up on the latest Mariners news.
Discuss promotion and relegation.
Preview the first round of the 16/17 A-league season.

Liked how Paul talked.

Lots of "WE" when referring to last year.
We let in 70 goals. Could easily say they and I will try to fix it. Very inclusive almost like it was his responsibility.

Also very positive about we fear no one.

First time I've listened (listened to two). Really good job and interesting. A lot of stuff covered before the media gets a whiff life the stadium ownership discussion with council.

Kath Casey from Central Coast Stadium management will be on our show on the 18th, so if you have any questions for her, please let us know.

We will also have David Squires from the Guardian on the show on the 18th as well.

How was the first season coaching for the academy?
What players do you think have the most chance of making the step up to the first team?

For Ben - Will the 2016/17 NYL squad be locked into a contract tying them to the Academy in NPL2 for 2017. I seem to recall that a number of last season's squad left to play in Sydney NPL1 teams or elsewhere.

Hey Yoda.
Briefly mentioned this on last weeks show.
The players have been signed to a 12 month contract covering both the NYL and academy teams.
How water tight this contract is, not sure yet.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we've had to move the Kath Casey interview to next week.
Take the time this weekend while we're at home to think of any questions you have for us.

We still have the fantastic David Squires joining us via Skype.

Again, quality work lads.

I know you covered it this week but is there any chance for the next show to get someone on from the club to discuss this new 'Canberra business development ambassador'?
His rhetoric regarding 'Capital coast' mariners and quotes like "The Central Coast really need us as much as we need them and combining the populations, there's close to one million people' is really damaging?
