Bring back 'old forumites'

I'm not sure how to do it, but there are a lot of old forumites that no longer post. Any ideas on how to get them back?? Or were the bridges too far burned?

I don't think bridges have been burned, I think that the spreading of information and ideas has moved from forums to social media.
As I exclaimed on a show a while ago, this place used to be the only continual source of information before other avenues of information streams opened up.
This is still a good site to visit and share ideas and thoughts about CCM, you need to put thought into posts here, not just a rubbish comment amongst a whole heap of rubbish comments you might find on social media.

I used to enjoy reading DIBO's contributions, and I have to admit I waited eagerly for the duels between Dibo and Wombat.

Not sure what happened to Dibo, but we haven't heard from him in quite a while. I'm hoping he's on holidays, or perhaps he doesn't have much to say during the off season (doubtful). Certainly hoping nothing untoward has happened.

Not sure if there's anyone on the forum that can contact him and check it out?

Still alive, just not really foruming a lot. I check in, but whilst it's better than the FB members group on here, I still have have to wade through posts that veer from questionable analysis through to utter drivel just to get nuggets of actual information.

And if I never have an online "conversation" with Wombat again it'll be too soon.
