ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

No cup final in the world is ever a 2 leg series, and this is no different. So we have to adapt quickly and play as best as we can and hope for the trophy
In Europe yeah but that’s because it’s such a small continent which makes travel not so much of a problem

I've heard it's actually really really nice, not as trashy as Dubai, more history and nature, locals are pleasant.
Yeah I did some reading when the location was announced and seems like a nice place. Very tempted as these opportunities don’t come around very often.

Just looked at the price of flights. Won't be able to make it. Would hate to think of the financial burden on the club to compete in this comp (I know we get subsidies from AFC but I doubt that would cover it!) Do you think competing in this comp has cost the club more than the $2.5m potential prize money?

Nah, it was a burden in the pool stage as the travel money was pretty low. Don’t forget we got paid good money to go to Campbelltown and the travel money is a lot better in the later stages. We are probably in the red overall but even the $1m would make it very worthwhile.

Surely the afc cup sponsorship with air asia made atleast the flying part much cheaper for the club.

No, they get money for travel costs. But yes I've been waiting for dick to tell us it cost 860 million for this comp.
