Uzbekistan v Qatar

April 1-
Australia v Uzbekistan
Bahrain v Qatar

Australia and Japan will be the first two countries to officially book their berths in the 2010 World Cup, provided both teams win. The rest will then have to fight it out for 3rd place.

Group B
March 28-
North Korea v UAE
Iran v Saudi Arabia

April 1-
South Korea v North Korea
Saudi Arabia v UAE

The tougher of the two groups, with the two Koreas battling it out for group leadership on April 1. Saudi Arabia look to be slipping with Iran in 3rd place- and the 3rd-placed side from this group will quite possibly be the side that faces New Zealand in the Asia-Oceania play-off.

Uzbekistan now 3-0 up on Qatar with the visitors down to 10 men. Make that 4-0 now

So the two Koreas lead Group B with Saudi Arabia in third place.

Uzbekistan move to third in Group A with their 4-0 thrashing of a dreadful Qatar.
