I think Australia will draw with Germany, beat Ghana by at least two and either draw with Serbia or lose by one goal which will be enough to take us through in second place.

I then think we'll draw 2 - 2 with England and go out on penalties.

The emerging star from the tournament will be Rukavytsya.

I also predict massive logistical problems for the fans, but that's a no brainer.

Tournament winners - Brazil. Dark horse - England (if Rooney stays fit).

They've won their last 6, with a GD of +17, conceding only 4. They've been behind at half time only once, in 1934 against Belgium: a game they went on to win 5:2.

In the game they lost, to Algeria in 82, they dominated the game, winning 16 corners to Algeria's 4, but lost out to two brilliant pieces of attacking flair and superb goalkeeping.

IOW, based on form, it will be an upset if we don't get slaughtered, and a major upset to get a draw.

Those are all valid points, but on the basis of my nationality and cheerily optimistic nature, and because it's such a lovely day...I think we might sneak a draw.

I will care, chances are it'll be Uruguay(I think) and I don't think I could stand being knocked out by them at all. Let alone England for that matter

I think Oz will lose to Krauts and Serbs but will beat Ghana.  I'd be suprised if the make it out of the group but think England would win by 3 or 4 if we did make it to QF.
