Looks Hectic but now everything smeels like my grandads car!

Must be a North Easterly wind because Canberra had the same problem yesterday.

Unlikely to be a north easterly, what with the Tasman Sea being pretty light on for dust. It's a big westerley lifting dust from as far away as South Australia. It's the quietest morning here (Stanmore) in years, as the planes can't get in and out of Sydney Airport. Sooooo yellow though, amazing scenes! It's like living inside a glass full of Berocca.

Everyone's facebook status is referring to this as similar to Total Recall, living on Mars, etc etc. My lil' white car is Orange and I don't wanna have to wash her. It stinks though...so gross. My theory is, whenever I have to go in the office (i.e. Yesterday or that perfectly sunny weekend we had the other week) it's beautful weather. When I have a day off and plan to do something outdoors...it's like this. Poo.

It's great that I can park undercover at work, not so great that my ageing car - the Silver Flash - is even filthier than it was yesterday. I washed it last night too (if you count driving it home from a comedy show in the rain as washing it ).

My red bike is just a different shade of red today..though the dust itself isn't helping my asthma.

Poor farmers out west though, what you see in the sky is their topsoil(a lot of it)

This reminds me of Tianjin in China for ACL when we were blown away from a dust storm. It was thicker over there but didnt last as long.

My car now officially lives up to its name of Ziggy Cardust. Wiped the windscreen on my way to the gym. I got out of the gym an hour later...back to being orange. Sigh.
