ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

SO....g'day all...how are we???...this might only interest Man U fans..dunno....BUT

I have on occasion been known to go to the local bookstore and purchase something that grabbed my attention....SO....I strolls into the shop and found this.....

book.jpg

AND A THUMPING GOOD READ IT IS.........covers every aspect of the great mans life from school football to working at the electrical engineers until he was old enough to sign professional papers.

From Jimmy Murphy collecting him at Manchester train station to the disaster that was Munich.... you can really get a grasp of what a top flight fellow Sir Bobby is as he reminices about his team mates from that era.....He speaks of the holy trinity..LAW, BEST & himself....and the day he spent with Dennis at Georgie Bests deathbed and how they solved problems that had come between them...and on the private side he speaks of the falling out with his brother jackie (also a capped player for england) due to their mother not getting on with Sir Bobbys wife and how after many years they got past it.

He speaks most fondly of Sir Matt Busby and Jimmy Murphy and how they got him up to Man U condition...he tells many funny tales of 'Our Nobby" and his near sightedness and the resulting calamities...and finally...he speaks of the modern era and how the only man able to carry on Sir Matts dream has been Sir Alex Ferguson ( lotta knights at this club huh?) SO....anyway...if ya see it grab it...fantastic read.....OH .....and his favourite player at Man U...PAUL SCHOLES...
