Gotta feel a tad sorry for SFC ... on behalf of the league as a whole... today must be close to the worst day weather wise you could have an icy wind, thunder storms, freezing and wet... Stadium they are playing at has not much wet weather protection...
Sydney folk do not like to watch sport in bad weather ... simple as ... all sports ... St George would struggle to get 5 K on this sorta day...
Given the otherwise crap crowds aside from Newcastle ... this weather seems to plague us in summer... strangely weather in Sydney is stormy and wet in summer much more than winter which tend to get long dry stretches...

Not my arguement but, the lowest crowd figure for St.George (post merger) was 6024 against Nth Queensland at Wollongong Feb 12th 2000.
That`s if the table & figures you provided are accurate.
