Golec obviously disagreed with Foschini's red card, first tweeting "Ben Williams worst referee ever" before posting "Ben Williams you are gay, biggest homo going around, you gypsy".
Golec's account has since been deleted.
On Sunday, Golec apologised for his remarks via an Adelaide United press release.
How incredibly stupid - and calling him a homo, wtf?? What are you, 12?? How a professional athlete can be so idiotic and immature is beyond me, could well find himself in a bit of strife for that.

Despite what Adelaide may look to hand out in the way of punishment it will be nothing compared to what the FFA are looking to do so I hear.
