Great Derby match... was sold out during the week and almost 27K turned up for the match...
Superintendent Peter O'Neill, in charge of operations at AAMI Park, said... "Overall we couldn't be more pleased with the crowd tonight,"...
It was a cracker of a match with two of the best goals I have seen where the goal keeper was chipped with great lead up play...

The issue as I see it ... in most sporting events with a crowd of this size there would be people thrown out for being drunk and you could argue that 16 from a crowd of this size at this time of year is small... Will the boxing day test or the second test at the SCG get the same headline or will the match and the event be the headline...
