Bizarre story from MV fans forum about a kid born in Afghanistan raised in Australia playing in Brazil how on earth did that all happen to one guy.

Born in Afghanistan but raised in Sydney and is an Australian citizen. He is currently playing for Athletico Mineiro in Brazil and by all reports is a star on the rise. He turns 21 next month.

Maybe a great signing for the Mariners if available / ! ? !

I'm 19 years old and a high school graduate from the state of New South Wales, Australia. I have been playing football for 14 years. Football is my lifes dream and passion and I want to make it to the top of the world one day.

I have been playing professional football with the Australian youth squad for the past 3 years. I represent the state of New South Wales at the national level. I have also been part of many Australian national high school championships. I have participated in many outdoor and indoor (FUTSAL) competitions and have traveled to a lot of great places.

- Signed sponsorship with youth super league U14 in Blacktown city DSFA
club.
- High school football league - Futsal competitions.

2003
- Premier youth league with Blacktown City DSFA club U15 /16 winter super league DSFA U/18.
- Represented my high school in Australian High School Open Age Boy's Futsal
- First grade New South Wales state league indoor soccer (Futsal) Western Raiders
