ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Australian government advise... as at 4 April ... what is posted below is just the start of the summary ... the link is pages long and makes for scareie reading

http://www.smartraveller.gov.au/zw-cgi/view/Advice/yemen

This advice has been reviewed and reissued. It contains new information in the Summary and under Safety and Security: Civil Unrest/Political Tension (ongoing very high risk of further political violence and tension in Yemen in coming days). The overall level of the advice has not changed

Summary

All Australians in Yemen should now depart because of the ongoing deterioration in the security situation and continuing violent clashes causing a large number of casualties including some reported deaths.

The security environment throughout Yemen continues to deteriorate. Further protests are highly likely in coming days.

Following Friday prayers on 18 March 2011, a significant number of protestors were killed and injured in clashes around University Square in Sana’a.

A State of Emergency has been declared by Yemeni authorities and will remain in place until at least 17 April 2011.

The political situation in Yemen is highly fluid. There is a risk of open conflict between elements of the security forces and of a breakdown in law and order.

In light of these developments, we repeat our earlier strong advice that all Australians depart Yemen as soon as possible by commercial means while it is still possible to do so.
