ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

New NSW Coalition cabinet

Former rugby league referee and former Chief Operating Officer of the National Rugby League Graham Annesley has been announced as Sports Minister.

Hmmmm. I wonder what support he will provide football?

What did we get from a football playing Premier?

LA Galaxy!

Needs close watching though ...

Exactly, votes and marginal seats will dictate policy, not one minister's background.

The Coast holds a few marginal seats does it not? Could be a boon for us just as much as league. Its interesting that a man who has held a high position in sports administration has moved into politics. It's usually the other way around.

Chris Holstein won the seat of Gosford from Labour for the first time since its creation. Has he had anything to do with the Mariners in his role as Mayor.

Massive supporter and was at the Grand Final

His children play and most of the staff at his cafe, Gnostic Mana, are massive Mariners' fans.

Good to hear ... maybe a little funding for the next stage of the COE... or put the hard word on for a 12 to 15 K stadium at the COE ...

FWIW, Katie Smith (? Is that the Labor candidates name - I've already forgotten... lol) is also a massive Mariners fan and she too was at the GF. An interesting little annecdote told to me by someone sitting near her. She was standing at her seat, proclaiming how great it was to be there, then Mr Holstein comes and sits in the seat behind her. Snap!

Anyway, We did far too good a job frog-marching the Labor scurge off the Central Coast in the State electrion. I think we'll have to wait for the Fedral election before any serious pork-barrelling begins.

We should start the pork barrelling now..........

IMO the way things look we will be off to a federal election within a few months... very marginal seats we have ... more than likely the winner of our seats is the new government ....

My ask ... is a small purpose built football stadium at the COE .... say 12 to 14 K ... in all honesty we will struggle in the next few years to fill Bluey and if we own the stadium ... our own club at the ground.... control the catering rights.... we will be around a long time ..

Alternatively give us the right to Bluey and buy out Singo & Norths ... nay cheaper and better to own our own stadium at the CEO on Mariner scarlet land ...
