CCMFans Newsletter September 30, 2013
Hi all, and welcome to the CCMFans newsletter. The new season is almost here, and we have been looking at some new initiatives for the CCMFans community in the off-season. Firstly, we will be sending an email out every week with our latest results, information for upcoming games, travel information for fans, latest discussions happening in the community, and more.
This season, CCMFans is financially supporting the Central Coast Mariners by becoming an official Business Supporter. The $3,500 fee was donated to CCMFans to use in purchasing the sponsorship package. We are hoping this is just the beginning and in the future we will look at the possibility of bigger packages like Player/Match Day Sponsorship, and more!
New Logo
You may have noticed our logo slowly evolving over the last season as our concept was improved on over time. During the off-season, the logo was professionally designed into what we have today.
The design was based on a photo that was taken in Melbourne a few years ago. It represents a Mariners fan holding up a scarf. This could be any fan from any part of the ground, male or female, any age, and any background. We hope you like it.
Pre-Game Venue
CCMFans have been working with the Central Coast Leagues Club to bring back the traditional pre-game gethering that for some reason died down long ago. The Kendall Room used to be packed out every week with Mariners fans before the game, and we hope to get that atmosphere back this season!
With many thanks to Charles from the CCLC, the Kendall Room has been booked for every home game, two hours prior to kick-off. We’ve arranged for the couches to be moved out and the room to be arranged as mainly standing room, to give the pub-like atmosphere we enjoyed in early seasons.
As a small gesture to welcome in the new season, CCMFans is putting on some hot finger-food for the first home game vs Western Sydney Wanderers. If you're going to the game, make sure you get to the Kendall Room, starting at 3:30.
