Well, the press are going to love this: Large brawl between MV supporters and a bunch of others (apparently not wearing SFC colours) after the match and somebody got stabbed, looks like by a 16 year old:

From what I hear, apparently the sixteen year old who did the stabbing didn't have Sydney FC get-up on and didn't look like the typical hooligan/casual wannabe, so my money is on it possibly being unrelated to the game. Not that it will stop the press.

I pointed out in another forum that it's a bit of a jump to immediately say it's match related - people get into fights for a lot of reasons. Somebody was quoted as saying it was a pretty large fight.
Heard rumours that the kid was one of the Cove youth supporters....(or whatever their yoofs are called).

Anyway, regardless of what the facts are I'm actually astounded at how little media attention this one is getting. It's good, just really surprising.

Maybe if it was one of those big burly ethnic members of the RBB they'd be all over it, but because it is a little kid from Eastern suburbs they don't care.
