Mariners V Weelington Round 4

As we are all clearly professional football pundits by now it is time (and i know its early in the week) for our opinions and predicted scores for the up coming game.

I'd love another goalfest but I'd be happy with 1 zip this round. I don't recall us ever blowing NZ away and I'm sure they will fancy themselves this week after beating us in the PSC.  So i'll take 1-0 with another goal from Macca this week.

                      Bozza

Clark        Boogs      Wilko          Bojic

                        Jedi

Porter              Hutch                Caceras

          Sasho            Simon

Bench: Dapuzzo, Nash, Macca and Ossie.

I can't see LM making many interchanges this game, maybe only Macca to get a run because there is not much depth on this bench.

Another 3 points is expected and hopefully the boys can come home with the points

Last season we took 9 points off Wellington which was one of the reasons we won the Premiership! This is a game LM knows that we have to win to feature in the title race. We have had a week off whilst most of the Pheniox played internationals.
Wouldnt be suprised if he started with Macca and Simon on the bench to give that impact with 20minutes to go.

Macca has to start, if fully fit. Petrovski as well.
Simon will come on from the bench

from your formation before, id drop porter for the greater good. players in the HAL are sitting up and taking notice of simon now, he is intense and wont stop for the whole time he is on the pitch. must start him

I agree about Matty .......... also I always worry about a team coming off a bad defeat ........ sometimes early in the season having a break as opposed to be more match harden is a disadvantage.

Heart says 2 - 0 to us ........... but not sure could be a watch for the banana skin match

Biggest Wins 4-0 Perth V1
4-1 Scum V1
3-0 Wellington V3
3-0 Scum V3 Semi Final

Over their short history CCM have won many games by a single goal.\
Keeps us fans alive through the whole match!

3-1 and they only score the 1 because we've shut up shop in the last few minutes.

We must win this one; if only to make Aloisi look like more of a twat after his comments this week about Smurfs and Tards. More importantly, we must not incur any more injuries, especially to any of our key players. Time to build some momentum starting this weekend. :pirashoot:
