ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Least favourite city that you have been to (excluding Newcastle)

To complete the set, how about the biggest arsehole of a city you have ever visited.

(Lets try to not fill the thread with the word Newcastle).

I'll start with.......................

Canberra. Easily the most soul less, dump of a shithole ever. I dread going there and cant wait till I leave it.

Honourable mention. Calais.

London.  Far too expensive, overcrowded, blah blah etc.  Couldn't wait to leave.

Pre-Olympics Beijing.  During and post olympics Beijing was a most pleasant surprise.

Gotta agree with Canberra.  Could not think of a more boring place (in all respects).

+1 for Canberra.

Also agree with London to a certain a extent. You can also add that people in the service industry are so rude to anyone with an Australian accent. Their rudeness and shit service exceeded anything I experienced in France by miles.

To me Venice was a major disappointment. Maybe I had huge expectations but I found it dirty, smelly, impersonal, 100% tourist driven and therefore a 100% tourist rip off on every corner.

Ok so we can't say Newcastle so how about Wollongong? Get lost every time I go to that place and get lost trying to get out. Only decent thing to that area is the Stanwell Park - Thirroul area beach line.

granada - with the exception of the alhambra and sierra nevada and the world's best kebab shop (take a kebab, add olives and a fried egg - something magic i swear), the place was grimy, crowded, covered in dog shit and full of cigarette smoke.

not a great fan of brussels or munich either.

i quite like canberra, but then i would, wouldn't i? getting $190 a night travel allowance for the weeks down there didn't hurt...
