ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Ah hell, best of luck to him. Another Aussie coach who I'm sure has learnt a shitload over the last few years. Look at Ange and Arnie - two much derided coaches in past years who are now absolute stars of the Australian game. If Kossie can bring that sort of discipline and craft to Adelaide then our Champions League representatives are going to be awesome in 2012.

Probably a good move. They had no choice but to sake current coach and at least you know what you are going to get with kossie.

They obviously weren't seeking to hire a new coach, as this appointment is most unambitious. They just needed to get Coolen out of the job and stabilise the decline, and Kossie was on hand so to speak.
If they have any sense, they'll spend a few months researching and making a proper appointment.
While it's true that Arnie and Ange have massively improved as coaches, they have done the work - Kossie's been "building his deck in the Adelaide Hills".
Poor old Boogie!

That being the case, how would he be qualified? There are minimum requirements now to be a coach.

Yes, and I read that he doesn't meet them.

I have HUGE problems with Kosmina (and Ferguson) being able to coach in the A League without the appropriate licences. How the FFA could allow this to occur is beyond me and smacks of poor due diligence. It seems a case of bend the rules to suit thier needs which has now led to the FFA facing an almighty lawsuit.

Jason Culina has lodged a $1.7 million claim which will shoot an almighty hole in the FFA budget to the detriment of the clubs. If FFA had done their due diligence they would have seen that Culina was not insured at GCU. Instead they probably swept it under the carpet due to the fact that they were getting a genuine Socceroo star back in the country who was at the peak of his playing powers.

You either make the rules and stick to them or F%ckoff as far as I am concerned.
