Melbourne Heart have announced that former Ajax and Netherlands winger John Van't Schip will be their inaugural manager for the 2010/11 A-League season.
The 45 year-old was recently named the interim coach of Dutch giants Ajax following the departure of Marco Van Basten though has only previously been a head coach at FC Twente.
He was assistant manager of the Dutch national team though for four years under Marco Van Basten, a spell that included a World Cup and European Championship campaign between 2004 and 2008.
Van't Schip has signed a two-year deal with the Heart.
