ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Jets need to get out of that thugby stadium asap
I called a very good mate of mine who spent all weekend up at EAS trying to sort the schmozzle out. I won't say too much on a public forum but I can tell you the details of what the Knights did are shocking. It was a very deliberate sabotage and designed to cause the scum and many problems as possible.
They were told the pitch would be unplayable for weeks after the motor cross but they said they had their own experts come in and say it would be fine. Problem is no one has seen the report or who knows who the so called experts are.
The shit is currently hitting the fan and the Knights have cooked their goose once and for all this time. Big, big changes will be made and the scum will be the winners.
How will the jets end up winners in all this? Forgive me because I'm only young, but don't the Knights have control over how the stadium is used? IF they chose to screw up their pitch thats their choice (I'm not defending it I think it's a horrible thing to do) but how can anyone stop them or give them a retrospective punishment? I'm just curious as to what these big changes would be, who would pass a verdict and how they would be enforced.
The Stadium is a government owned facility that is run through a trust responsible to government. The Knights have a contract a primary tenant to manage it and gain the benefit, and the Jets are their sub-tenant. There has been a stoush for some years over the contract. If the Knights have breached their contract it could be terminated or not renewed. If the Jets get to be a tenant in their own right they have more influence and perhaps better revenue stream.
