ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Invitation to book launch

I think this might have been buried in an old thread so I'll try a new one:

Dear Marinators

Once again I'm hoping that the powers that be will not regard this post as in breach of the rules regarding commercial touting. (And it's not really, it's an invitation.)

My book Mr Cleansheets will be launched on the Coast by Lawrie McKinna on 21 April. I was intending to give an open invitation to Marinators to the launch, but it looks like numbers will be limited...which means that I can only offer 5 double invitations, and those will go to the first 5 people who email me at mrcleansheets@hotmail.com who can make it on the night.

Thanks midfielder.

It should be available shortly. Lawrie enjoyed it and was good enough to give me a quote for the back cover, as did Simon Hill. Fingers crossed and all that. Being about an Australian who becomes a footballing legend overseas, I'm really hoping it becomes part of the uniform for all Australians going to the world cup.

Hey guys

I have been able to get a bigger venue for the launch of Mr Cleansheets so there are more invitations available to Marinators. Come and hear Lawrie McKinna and have a couple of refreshments.

If you'd like to attend, email mrcleansheets@hotmail.com and I'll send you an invitation. I can't just throw it open as we need to know numbers for catering purposes.

Love

Thanks Kev (Chris)

It was good to meet you at the launch and I hope you enjoy the book. It's going pretty well on the Coast (where people know me) but every little bit of publicity helps to get the word out further afield.

Finally got to finish the book, Mr Cleansheets - taking it on holidays and just relaxing reading in the fresh air helped!

Great book - fact and fiction melds into one as Mr Cleansheets gets to play the game of his life, gets his girl, and does some business with the Irish mafia, white supremicists, and assorted bovver boys!

Well recommended!
