ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Really interesting and equally disturbing thread on the Sydeny forum:

http://sfcu.com.au/smf111/index.php?topic=15221.0

Proves that the FFA has no interest in active support for all their teams and the A-League.

I had to deal with these guys during the last finals series. They weren't too bad. They even persuaded the stadium security in qld to let me keep my drum sticks that they were trying to take.
But writing to people and threatening bans when they aren't even at the game is a bit far.

FFA just dont understand (or want to) active support as their ticketing farces in the finals clearly demonstrate.

The FFA followed Hatamoto recommendation to move games to nights where away support is less likely (like Fridays). FFS.

I think Tards have a point ... have read their forums for a while and they often get the shits over nothing..

The last game at BT ... I counted 16 guards around the Tards HE ...

There is a problem..

and they still ripped a flare
kutgw cops etc (Y)

Their antics at EAS earlier in the season has marked their cards big time TBH. Was talking to one of the secco's when we were up there and he said they had ripped a few flares and there were reports of "shenanigans" under the stand.

Never seen any issues with them in five years...
Can't be too bad then surely?

Also read many posts now saying they've actually always had pretty good experiences with them.

MV, self confessed, do have some pretty dangerous elements. Sure copping some warning notices sucks if you haven't done anything... But it's not like they just started slinging out automatic bans every which way, or closing the home end down or something.

And then you have people like the ones who jumped Middleby... the Scum supporter trashing cars... I personally had to deal with an SFC supporter losing it in traffic, blocking cars, trying to fight people left and right who had their kids with them...

In short, I think there is obviously a valid place for Hatamoto, and I actually agree that its important and understandable that the FFA want to protect their brand - with the rival code sledgers always looking to pummels Socca at any opportunity.

Its just the overkill policing of drums, horns and banners imo - thats actually annoying.

Apart from that - going to HAL is pretty bloody safe and friendly all in all imo.

Having experienced both home and away policing in the UK, as well as home policing on the continent (AS Roma), I can confidently say that Hatamoto are a pack of over-reacting tossers - and to add insult to injury, they fail at the very job they're paid to do.

At the very least they should engage in dialogue with the various fan groups, and not treat us like maximum security prisoners.  Wankers.

No place for Hatamoto with their:
*Complete lack of experience with sport crowds
*Wish to make away games on days that fans can't travel to - on purpose
*Wish for every banner to be vetted by ground security, and no banners representing any other countries, opposition players, coaches, and club badges.
*Willingness to target people for life bans based on no clear evidence, often with the party involved being quite innocent

Amongst other things.

Would they be behind the seccos threatening to throw us out of ANZ for singing free tibet songs at the Socceroos/China game?

Idiots - ignored 45 mins of anti tard abuse with added c words but got all upset about that

They'd place the rules in about people being removed for being prejudical chants and such, but the Seccos have to interpret and enforce it. Depends how Hatamoto instructed them I suppose.

But Hatamoto are cunce. The only ones worse are the Riot cops that appear at "Class A" security games.
