ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Interesting little article from the age. We don't have an Arnold OUT thread but if true this is interesting.

Also would help explain why FL has said GA bring back a medal or Bye Bye.

Why Harry's not happy

INTERESTING background emerging as to why Harry Kewell didn't try to follow the path of world soccer's big names such as Ronaldinho and Lionel Messi in representing his country at next month's Olympic Games. The reason may well be that Australia's coach in Beijing will be Graham Arnold. We hear the relationship between the pair is strained to the point that, according to Kewell's manager, Bernie Mandic, when the champ recently changed his mobile number he gave express instructions that it was never to be given to Arnold

Bring back a medal...? Hah! Even if Barca duck taped Messi to their stadium, I can't see us getting out of the group stages.

Sadly, I hope your not wrong. If it means Arnold is sacked and not asked back to the Australian coaching fold again, id take three 5-0 defeats

I feel Arnold will be gone as coach of the under 23 team after the olympics but he's contracted with the ffa to work for them till 2010 and i cant see them terminating his contract

He could do the half-time oranges until his contracts up.

He'd probably make an arse of that as well.

Couldn't stomach that sort of result, but I'd be happy if we got three 0-0 draws (or 3 x 0-1 losses)and bowed out more gracefully. ARNOLD OUT.

Harry's (reported) comments together with the spineless performances in the Asian cup and "unavailability" of certain players for the Olympics would seem to indicate that players think he is an utter knob too.

Much as this grieves me to say it, GVE would be an excellent replacement (full time of course) :)

Does it _have_ to be an absolute drumming that gets him the flick??  I'd like to think I'm going all that way to watch something half decent y'know??

*takes a look at the squad*

Then again.......  :-[

But wouldnt you just love to be able to say that you were there to see the end of this NSL throwback??

Watching his little face crumble as the taunts ring round the ground??

I'll have to check with the Red Army guards when I'm there if that's in the official manual of chanting......

T - those photo's he has of Frank Lowy might be the reason - or perhaps he knew about his dodgy tax returns??    Which are public now btw, so ARNOLD OUT!!!!!

What little I remember of the Asia Cup was us chanting Arnold Out before the Oman game had even started............ then a blur of booze, rain, and other 'things'.  So yes, you probably have a point.  :p
