ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Love bozza though, dont know how many times he mentioned cars being smashed or getting out of newcastle in one piece! funny times.

god only knows why the kiwi commentator made it across the ditch! the only thing he talks about is how good ben sigmund is and how mark paston is a national hero and the best keeper by far at the pheonix this season :vomit:

They are obviously a bit stretched with the Asian Cup on at the moment.

I quite like Simon Hill and Harps is ok. Bozza is good value and even Robbie Slater can be rather humorous at times. If Trimboli didn't have such an annoying voice he would be pretty good too.

But that Kiwi who did our game v the Phoenix was really annoying.

I thought Dom Rimnaldo who did the Perth game the other night was outstanding.

Dom has a long career doing radio and TV work with C7 and it showed in that game.

Bozza and Brenton Speed had the best banter going between them during our match.
It was actually a pleasure to listen too. The scratching call was a mere tip of the iceberg.

and with the Asian Cup, They've only lost Simon Hill and Harps (who can stay there tbh)

I like Hill, Bozza and Speedy the best. I strongly dislike Ross Aloisi. and the Kiwi duo. The rest are ok.

I "like" Ross - but he's hopeless.

Harper swings form being a very intelligent commentator, to a complete and utter prat that makes ludicrous assumptions, has arrogant banter, and a voice that makes you want to cut your own ears off.

Trimbooli, I used to like, but his unerring commitment to having Muscats balls lodged in his mouth at all times, has sadly bred a dislike in me for what seems otherwise quite a pleasant man.

Bozza is the undisputed king in my eyes. Followed by Simon.

They are a long way in front. Then Cockerill, Slater and Speed round it out for me.

Oh, and MEL IS QUEEN!!!! :pirashoot: :pirashoot:
:vhappy: :vhappy: :vhappy:

Anybody know where Mike Cockerill is? Been a while since he's been on Fox and I haven't seen any SMH articles from him in ages.

He is ill and away from work ... no more details known than that.
Mike Cockerill was a spectator in Bay 4 at the last home game.

Bozza was an embarrassment when calling the Fury game against ? last week or the week before. He was incoherent at times, irritating, childish and giggly. He actually sounded a bit 'tired and emotional'. If I were a Foxsport exec, I'd be seriously questioning his professionalism after that performance and he'd be gawwwn!

Harry has a voodoo doll of Cockerill and has been slicing off limbs, one by one.

Bozza can be bright and coherent one moment and an uncontrollable 10 year old giggling schoolgirl the next.

Ross Aloisi is embarrassing. " They're playing the ball 'off of' the back." .. "He received the ball 'off of' the midfield." .... "He come 'off of' the bench." .. "The ball was played 'off of' the corner." ... It skimmed 'off of' the grass."

I prefer Hill and Trimboli.
