ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Looks like same survey they sent out last year.

I found the lay out very similar to last year but this year the survey was more specific about what you enjoy at a match and about technical aspects of the A-League where as last year it was more about when you perfer going.

Serious question.

Does anyone think these surveys are anything other than a PR excercise to make us think they actually give a toss what we think ?

Yer I does .... last year we had most of our home games on a Saturday night and only one I think maybe two on a Sunday afternoon... That what most wanted at the end of hal 2... the Choppers got mainly Sunday afternoon a time they wanted ... so Yer

But also it does not hurt the sales pitch to Hyundai

They're also gauging whether its worth scrapping the finals series. I answered no, but only because I believe it shouldn't be scrapped without adding something - such as an FA Cup style competition. But the question didn't provide an option like that. I would be more than happy to see the season decided on the results of the season rather than a few finals games.

That question always seems to be in there.

Hopefully the numbers wanting finals scrapped are steadily increasing and the FFA is monitoring this trend in order to calculate the optimal time to replace it with an FFA-Cup

I'll ask for it to be scrapped but only if some exciting football replaces it. Do you lot want to shorten the season or something?

No, just scrap the awful cultural cringe to NRL/AFL

Pointless, the league champions are the ones who did it over 21/27 games not a cup comp.

No not shorten the season quite the opposite imo.

We should be playing all teams home and away an equal amount of times.ie. a ten team league playing every team at home twice and away twice. That would be a total of 36 games with no post season nonsense. The league winners would then be worthy champions.

The way the league is at the moment is a joke really.Twenty one games apart from not being an even comp is only really half a season.Twenty seven is a bit better but it's still an uneven comp.

The problem is when we go to 12 or 14 teams playing each other 4 times is too many games but twice is too short.....although at least it's an even season.

FFA cup can come later or whenever but I'd like to see a proper league season first.
