ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Epic Road Rage

Recently my mate had his window punched in by some knob with a fair case of road rage...

The Result:

A few years back too, my dad was driving to Sydney...and some guy reckoned my dad cut him off...so when traffic stopped on the pacific highway, the guy grabbed a box of crockery (wtf?) from his boot and pelted plates and bowls and mugs etc at my dad's car...

Any other hilarity?

I was tailgating someone on the F3 once (as you do) and instead of getting out of the way they threw a banana peel at me...

maybe they had this in mind?

Yeh, I got even with a road rager by crashing into him once. It was in the mid-90's before road rage was an acknowledged problem. This guy in a pristine Magna tried to rudely change lanes and shove in front of me. The traffic was at a crawl and we both had our windows down. I had only moved about a metre forward and there was lucky to be a metre gap between me and the car in front anyway. Then he started abusing me through the window closely followed by his wife and his young son. Stuff like "ah, look at his hair" (thinning on top at the time) and other personal stuff. So, I didn't get angry, I just got even. When the lights changed and we started moving I just kept driving straight and he kept driving into my lane and we hit each other. Then, just to maximise his pain, I purposely slowed down and subtly steered into him so that the sharp broken blinker assembly scraped half way along the side of his car. Surprisingly, he then pulled back into the left lane and slowed right down whilst I drove off. Some guys passed me in the third lane and they were hanging out the windows yelling out stuff like "good on ya mate, don't take that shit from those idiots". It cost me $20 for a new blinker lense. His arrogance and his family's smart mouths probably cost them thousands.

What'd your mate do?

Recently my GF was abused by some women who wanted to do about double the speed limit (heaven forbid my gf drive at a reasonable speed!), and then she pulled up alongside her, abused her then spat on her car.

Yep, some classy sheilas around where we live...

He drives a done up car, so everyone assumes he's a dickhead, for one. But he changed lanes and then stopped at the red light. The guy behind him was speeding and didn't notice the red light. So apparetly that was my mates fault.
